We’re really excited to share the stage-by-stage line-up for our associated festival, Field Day, which takes place in London’s Victoria Park on Saturday 25th May. Also be sure to check out the latest episode of Field Day Radio, which is a Panda Bear special. Listen in the player below.
Vondelpark’s new album Seabed [R&S Records] is the “fullest realization yet of the project’s immersive smoothness, but what helps Vondelpark’s debut album stand out in a deluge of “Radiohead quietstorm” is that full-band quality, the organic fluidity of a unit who’ve been playing together for years.” [PITCHFORK]
Support comes from dream folk band Mt.Wolf, one of the most exciting prospects around. “Their acoustic recordings are manipulated into sprawling cinematic electronics, gracefully layered beneath nods to the past (delicate folky guitars) and nods to the future (smouldering sub-bass)” [CLASH]

We’re happy to welcome back Big Deal. A lot has changed since their critically acclaimed debut album was released in 2011. They’re now touring with a full band, a sound inspired and honed during a visit to SXSW, and a new album recorded in the depths of a converted lighthouse vessel. Their new album June Gloom is very much a rock record, with honeyed melodies set to slacker anthems.

Our associated festival, Beacons in the Yorkshire Dales, have just announced lots more ace acts to play the festival this August. Head over to the Beacons website for the line-up so far and ticket info.
Vice Magazine’s music enterprise Noisey has been responsible for educating the ears of thousands over the years. We’re delighted that they’ve chosen us to host their first Sheffield show.
San Francisco’s oOoOO, pronounced ’Oh’, [Tri Angle Records] marries hip-hop-influenced beats with pop melodies and experimental sounds. Drawing from acts as diverse as Ludacris, Britney Spears, and Broadcast, oOoOO is a pioneer of the witch house / drag scene that includes the likes of SALEM, Balam Acab, Holy Other, Crystal Castles and White Ring amongst others. With a new record dropping in June, this is one act you probably won’t get the chance to see again here.
In support we have the “dreamy vocals, shuddering drums and delicate synths” of Swimming Lessons. [Artrocker]
